That kind of growth puts real demands on the financial side of the business, job costing, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management, financial reporting, and the internal controls that keep a company our size running efficiently. The people in our accounting and finance roles are responsible for making sure the numbers behind every project are accurate, current, and actionable.
Construction accounting is its own discipline. Percentage of completion, job cost tracking, subcontractor billing, equipment costs, certified payroll, if you’ve worked in construction financals before, you know the difference between this and general accounting work.
What We Expect From You
We expect our accounting and finance professionals to be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive about communicating when something doesn’t look right. The people who perform well in these roles at Gregory understand that and treat accuracy as a non-negotiable.
Beyond the technical side, we expect our finance team to work well with people outside of finance, project managers, operations leadership, and field teams who need clear information to make good decisions.
