We work on large-scale industrial and mission-critical projects, the kind of work that involves heavy equipment, deep excavation, trenching, and active job sites with a lot of moving pieces. The safety professionals on our team are embedded in that work. They’re not reviewing paperwork in a home office. They’re on site, alongside the crews, running toolbox talks, conducting hazard assessments, and working directly with superintendents and project managers to keep operations safe and compliant every day.
What Safety Roles at Gregory Look Like
Our safety team spans multiple levels, from safety technicians in the field to senior safety leadership overseeing programs across regions. These are project-based, travel-intensive roles. Gregory operates across the country, and our safety professionals go where our projects go.
Day to day, that means implementing site-specific safety plans, leading pre-task planning sessions, monitoring high-risk activities, supporting incident investigations, and mentoring the crews and junior safety personnel around you. The people who do this well at Gregory are the ones who know how to communicate clearly, earn the respect of the field, and hold the line on safety standards.
What We Expect From You
We expect our safety professionals to be credible in the field. That means relevant experience in heavy civil or mission-critical construction, a working knowledge of OSHA standards, and the certifications to back it up.
Beyond the credentials, we’re looking for people who genuinely care about the crews they’re working with. Safety culture is a result of professionals who show up every day and make it real on the job site.
