Construction Field Operations Careers
Gregory Construction is hiring field operations professionals including foremen, superintendents, and field support leaders, who are ready to run crews, own their scope, and deliver on some of the most demanding civil construction projects in the country.
What Field Operations Look Like at Gregory
Gregory performs site development, wet and dry utilities, and civil concrete work on industrial and mission-critical projects across the country. Our field operations team is the engine behind all of it. Foremen running daily crew production. Field superintendents managing multiple scopes across an active job site. Project superintendents coordinating the full field operation from mobilization through closeout. Field support leaders keeping the moving parts aligned between the office and the ground.
These are primarily traveling positions. Gregory works wherever our clients need us across multiple states and regions simultaneously, and our field operations team goes with the work. If you’re the type who’s most comfortable when you’re on an active job site, you’ll fit in here.

What We Expect From You
Field operations at Gregory requires experienced professionals who know how to lead people and manage production in a heavy civil environment. Foremen need to run their crews efficiently, enforce safety standards daily, and communicate clearly with their superintendent. Superintendents need to own the full field operation on their project including schedule, production, subcontractor coordination, quality, and safety, and be the kind of leader their crews respect and their project managers can rely on.
We expect our field operations team to solve problems in the field without waiting on someone else to tell them what to do. Issues need to surface early. Changes need to be communicated. Production needs to stay moving. The people who do this well at Gregory are the ones who see the whole picture while staying close enough to the work to know exactly what’s happening on the ground.
Willingness to travel is a firm requirement across all field operations roles. Gregory’s project load spans multiple states and our field leadership goes where the projects are.

What You Can Expect From Us
Gregory has the project portfolio, equipment resources, and geographic reach of a large contractor, with a leadership structure that is still close enough to the work to make decisions without layers of bureaucracy slowing everything down. That combination is rare, and it’s something we protect intentionally as we grow.
We’re a faith-forward company, which means we lead with honesty, hold ourselves accountable, and invest in the people who invest in us. This company was built on the belief that long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and team members are worth more than short-term gains. That philosophy shapes how we manage our projects and how we treat the people running them.
In 2025, we paid out nearly two million dollars in performance bonuses through our Pursuit of Excellence Bonus Program. Project managers whose projects perform well share directly in that. We structure compensation to reflect the value of the people delivering results, and we’re straightforward about what that looks like.
Gregory has more than doubled in size over the last five years. That growth creates opportunity for determined and motivated field leaders who are ready to take on more, and a path into leadership for the people who earn it.
