Columbus, MS – Gregory Construction is pleased to announce that Thomas Glenn has received the American Society of Concrete Contractor’s Gaining Strength Award. The Gaining Strength Award, presented by the ASCC’s Emerging Leaders Committee, acknowledges up and coming individuals within member companies who go above and beyond to promote and professionally represent the concrete industry.
“We are very happy for Thomas. His enthusiasm for the work and commitment to growth was evident the day he started at Gregory as an intern. He’s never slowed down and continues to take on more responsibilities,” said Justin Harris, Director of Operations at Gregory Construction. “I can’t imagine a more deserving candidate for this award.”
Eligible candidates for the Gaining Strength Award must be under 40 years old, employed by an ASCC member company, and set themselves apart from their colleagues through involvement in industry organizations and day to day performance within their company. Applicants are judged by a panel of 5 ASCC current or past Board Members.
“Thomas has become a valuable and critical part of our team in just a short time. His commitment to our core values of safety, integrity, communication, and excellence is evident in how he approaches his job,” said Aaron Gregory, President of Gregory Construction. “I’m proud that we’ve created an environment at Gregory Construction that allows a person like Thomas to excel and grow in his career.”
The ASCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of those who build with concrete. There are approximately 760 member companies in the United States.
