How You'll Get To Contribute
This position supports multiple job sites and requires strong technical ability, construction knowledge, and proficiency with CAD-based modeling tools.
What you’ll get to do
Create and maintain 3D machine control models, surface files, and survey data for GPS-guided construction equipment.
Build accurate surface models, alignments, and linework from civil plans, drawings, and engineering files.
Set up and update digital excavation files as project conditions change.
Review and read civil drawings, grading plans, utilities, profiles, and cross-section data.
Maintain current as-built files and ensure all revisions are accurately reflected in field models.
Work closely with project managers, survey teams, and field leaders to gather data and resolve issues.
Assist with GPS troubleshooting, calibration checks, and equipment setup as needed.
Communicate GPS capabilities and limitations to superintendents and foremen.
Travel to job sites as required to support project teams.
