Construction Project Management Careers

Gregory Construction is hiring experienced construction project managers who are ready to run complex civil and concrete projects from award to closeout, and build a long-term career with a company that rewards performance.

What Project Management Look Like at Gregory

Gregory operates on large-scale industrial and mission-critical construction projects across the country. Our project managers are the central point of accountability on every job, responsible for client relationships, subcontractor management, schedule, cost, safety compliance, and ultimately whether the project delivers on what we promised.

You’ll work directly with project executives, owners, and general contractors who expect clear communication and consistent follow-through. You’ll manage field superintendents and subcontractors who need direction and support to execute. And you’ll report to senior leadership that holds performance to a high standard and recognizes the people who meet it.

Depending on the project and region, travel is part of the job. Gregory works wherever our clients need us, and our project managers go with the work.

What We Expect From You

We expect our project managers to take full ownership of their projects. That means staying ahead of the schedule, managing cost proactively, communicating issues to leadership before they become surprises, and maintaining the kind of client relationship that results in repeat work. A project manager at Gregory is the face of the company on that job, and we expect them to carry that responsibility seriously.

Experience in heavy civil or concrete construction is required. You need to understand the work well enough to lead the people doing it, read a set of plans, manage a subcontract, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

We also expect our project managers to develop the people around them. Gregory promotes from within when the person is ready, and our PMs play a direct role in identifying and developing the next generation of project leadership.

What You Can Expect From Us

Gregory has the project portfolio, equipment resources, and geographic reach of a large contractor, with a leadership structure that is still close enough to the work to make decisions without layers of bureaucracy slowing everything down. That combination is rare, and it’s something we protect intentionally as we grow.

We’re a faith-forward company, which means we lead with honesty, hold ourselves accountable, and invest in the people who invest in us. This company was built on the belief that long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and team members are worth more than short-term gains. That philosophy shapes how we manage our projects and how we treat the people running them.

In 2025, we paid out nearly two million dollars in performance bonuses through our Pursuit of Excellence Bonus Program. Project managers whose projects perform well share directly in that. We structure compensation to reflect the value of the people delivering results, and we’re straightforward about what that looks like.

Gregory has more than doubled in size over the last five years. That growth creates opportunity for project managers who are ready to take on more, and a path into senior leadership for the people who earn it.
