SAFETY AT GREGORY

People Focused. Process Driven.

Awareness, training, and planning are at the heart of Gregory’s care for the safety of every team member.

At Gregory, safety isn’t a priority, it’s a core value that is rooted deep inside every member of the team. Priorities change; our #1 core value of safety never will.

Safety is our first and most important core value. We invest in the safety of our employees, clients, and partners by ensuring all of our team members have the latest personal protective equipment and all of our job sites are equipped with advanced tools and machinery. Our highly experienced safety leadership is engaged in each project, and every Gregory employee participates in proven training programs.

Building a culture that focuses on safety cannot be reactive or an afterthought. Safety is not project-specific or a “quick fix” to qualify for a contract. At Gregory Construction, safety is a critical part of our identity, pervasive from top to bottom, from start to finish.

Safety Begins Long Before The Job Site

SETTING THE STANDARD

IN SAFETY

Building and protecting a culture of safety has been a core value of the Gregory leadership team since day 1. Safety awareness is on the agenda at every company meeting. Visual safety reminders are prevalent at every job site. Safety metrics are consistently tracked against targets as part of our annual strategic plan. Field leadership never misses an opportunity to recognize and reward team members that visibly demonstrate our core value of safety.

Training is Foundational

Leveraging both virtual and in-person learning, Gregory offers a robust training and certification program for all team members. Our safety team is always looking for new materials, resources, and tools to ensure continuous improvement.

Hands On with Safety

A member of the Gregory safety team provides onsite leadership for every project. These safety leaders are trained to reduce exposure and foster a proactive environment where team members are comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and making suggestions. Every morning starts with a huddle to review Organizational Risk Management (ORM) boards to understand the project to be completed, identify real or potential safety risks, and create a plan to eliminate or control those risks. All employees are encouraged to speak up during our meetings, ensuring they have a full understanding of the part they play in everyone’s safety.
