Every project Gregory builds across industrial facilities and mission-critical projects starts with accurate survey control. Our survey teams are embedded in the work from day one, providing layout, staking, and as-built data across scopes that include site development, wet and dry utilities, and civil concrete. When the survey work is precise, everything downstream runs cleaner.
These are field-based positions. Gregory operates across multiple regions nationwide and our survey professionals go where the projects are. You’ll work directly alongside project managers, superintendents, and field crews. The communication between survey and field leadership is constant, and the people who do this well at Gregory understand that the job is as much about clear communication as it is about technical accuracy.
What We Expect From You
Our survey roles range from survey techs building foundational field experience to party chiefs and lead surveyors running full survey operations on complex civil projects. Regardless of level, we expect technical competence, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the field without needing constant direction.
For party chiefs and lead surveyors, we expect proven experience operating Trimble and Topcon systems, a strong command of grading, utilities, structure layout, and the ability to lead and develop the survey team members working under you. For survey techs, we’re looking for solid construction experience, a working knowledge of basic survey equipment, and a genuine willingness to grow in the discipline.
Willingness to travel is a requirement across all survey roles. Our projects span the Southeast, Southwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions.

Our teams work with Trimble S7 Total Stations, TSC7 Controllers, Trimble Access, Topcon GPS, and GPS machine control systems integrated with our intelligent Komatsu fleet.
